Need a repair after reading?
Send the full device model and a clear external label photograph. Where a part reference is already safely available, include it without opening a damaged device yourself. Battery size, shape, connector, voltage and compatible part reference matter. A battery advertised for the same brand or screen size is not automatically suitable.
Ask whether the quoted option includes supply, fitting, charging checks and the applicable warranty. A charger, DC jack or USB-C fault can prevent a good battery from charging, so explain those symptoms before paying for a replacement. If more than one fault is found, each proposed item should be clear in the written quotation.
Describe real runtime, unexpected shutdowns and what happens on mains power. A percentage reading on its own does not explain the complete fault. If the case is swelling or the device becomes unusually hot, stop using and charging it and ask about handling before collection. Do not force the case closed or press on a swollen battery.
