Check storage health before copying data
A slow or failing drive needs a data conversation before an upgrade. Tell us about clicking, read errors, missing files or repeated startup failures. Copying everything from an unstable drive may not be the first safe step. Important data, backup status and recovery requirements should be discussed before a new drive is installed.
The connector and physical format matter
A laptop can use different storage arrangements depending on model and configuration. An M.2-shaped device is not automatically compatible with every M.2 socket, and some storage is integrated. We confirm the interface, dimensions and available slot before quoting a part. Do not buy an SSD based only on advertised capacity.
